Plan your budget
Radon surveys and mitigation: plan your budget
A quotation suited to your building, with clear stages: survey, potential solutions, work and monitoring of the results. The scope is agreed before pricing.
Describe my situation| Service | What is included | What affects the cost |
|---|---|---|
| In-depth survey | Monitor installation, approximately one week of simultaneous measurements, analysis of the readings over time, reporting and recommended next steps. | Number of rooms and other spaces in contact with the ground, additional floors, access and necessary investigations. |
| Passive detector measurement | Campaign arrangements, passive detectors, analysis and reporting according to the protocol. | Building type, number of locations and arrangements for installation and collection. |
| Mitigation work | Selected solution, equipment, installation and adjustments. | Ground and building layout, pipe routes, access, connections and finishing work. |
| Monitoring included in mitigation | Measurements before and after the work, a mitigation report and arrangements for confirmation using passive detectors, as set out in the quotation. | Rooms monitored, schedule, scope and any additional tests or adjustments. |
The exact price, included services, travel costs and VAT treatment are specified in the quotation. It details the amounts corresponding to the agreed scope.
Price the survey according to the rooms
To prepare the quotation, provide the address, building type and number of rooms and other spaces in contact with the ground, including cellars, garages and plant rooms. Occupied floors above may also require measurement points.
Existing plans and results help define measurement locations and investigations. You do not need to choose the method before our first discussion.
Price the work after the technical assessment
The survey provides the basis for a solution suited to likely entry points and the observed pathways through the building. The budget then depends on access, pipe routes, the extractor, connections and finishing work.
If additional tests or another trade are required, their scope is specified. A concentration figure alone does not describe the work needed.
A clear quotation through to confirmation
- Planned equipment, installation, connections and finishing work.
- Monitoring concentrations before and after the work.
- Mitigation report presenting the work and results.
- Arrangements and schedule for confirmation using passive detectors.
- Work by other trades and any exclusions.
- Travel costs, VAT treatment and quotation terms.
Start with the information you have
Your contact details and situation are enough to begin. Then provide the municipality, rooms concerned, planned work and your timeframe. You can attach available plans, photographs and results later in the form.
Your questions
Can a price be given from the radon level alone?
The level helps establish context, but it does not describe the construction or the work needed. The scope must be defined before a price can be given.

What about yourbuilding?
A measurement, a result, a question. Let’s start there.
